Cher Rips Into Her Older Fans

Continuing on with our theme of how today's artists continue to disrespect their fans, check out this VH1 story where Cher criticizes her older fans who pay good money to see her show in Las Vegas. Since Cher is no spring chicken herself at age 56, maybe she should learn to show a little respect towards her elders. Or maybe she believes that plastic surgery actually makes you younger.

According to Sonny's ex, "When I played the Mirage it was a little better because younger people started coming to the shows who were aware of your music. They were old people just sitting there looking at you."

Maybe the older people were staring at her face, which may or may not have been moving while she was singing. To make a few extra bucks, maybe she should charge fans for touching her face, which, after all, is nothing less than a work of art.

Cher's face is not the only thing which appears to be a bit on the artistic side these days. Check out this story where she broke down and cried on national television after seeing a video clip of her performance at Sonny Bono's funeral. It is wonderful to know that she deeply cares for a guy that she divorced 27 years ago. And who says Cher did not deserve an Oscar for her role in Moonstruck?

Spare Us the Grief Girl

Just for the record, Cher is another artist who is avoiding playing in Montreal this summer. Although Montreal has a large gay population who inexplicably enjoys her music, she was nice enough to blow off her fans here. It is great to see that Cher cares just as much for her Montreal fans as she does for her elder fans. Why fans keep throwing their money away on these people is beyond me.
