After spending the past few months writing about dreary music industry - technology related issues, this one is a bit on the fun side. Hey man, like wow! Check out this story where signer Dionne Warwick was busted in a Miami airport for carrying eleven marijuana joints. Is it time to reopen Alcatraz Prison and send away threatening and dangerous individuals like Dionne? |

In a time of threat to our national security, it is nice to see that taxpayers money is being put to good use harassing and hunting down non-violent citizens like Dionne, who pose absolutely no threat to anyone, except her lungs. So Dionne likes to smoke a joint or two. Maybe smoking pot is a way for Dionne to relax considering the pressures and demands involved with her industry. Maybe it is a way for her to keep her sanity and not lose her mind in an industry that has literally taken their musical icons and dumped them in the trash. |

At the time of her arrest, Warwick was traveling to Los Angeles, maybe to share a bit of weed with her friends. After all, that's what friends are for. Once in LA, it is unknown if Dionne and friends would try to find their way to San Jose. Now, if Dionne and her friends are looking for some great head shops, they can click here. And another thing. Since movie sequels/revivals are the big craze these days, how about bringing back Cheech and Chong. Excuse me while I go to the kitchen. This story is giving me the munchies. Sphinx |
